Mission
Supported by experts in our current industrial team, and reporting to the project director, the successful candidate will be required to offer customized services in a context of multidisciplinary projects. This is a great opportunity for an electrical engineer to develop their knowledge in collaboration with a seasoned team in an environment that values autonomy and initiatives. A good opportunity also for the incumbent to showcase their technical skills in the framework of electrical engineering projects.
Primary Responsibilities
- Office work (possibility of remote work) – Industry and Energy sectors
- Ensure project management
- Participate in the design of drawings and specifications for the installation of industrial power equipment (medium and low voltage distribution, auxiliary services, engine control, etc.)
- Prepare quantity and manpower estimates
- Prepare and analyze bids and tender documents
- Field work – Industry (mining, pulp & paper)
- Carry out testing and commissioning of electrical systems
- Conduct technical information surveys on clients’ premises
- Perform inspections and testing on equipment manufacturers’ premises
- Possibly ensure supervision of electrical works with contractors
- Perform testing and electrical measurements
Profile
- College Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- Over 10 years of experience
- Analytical skills and ability to propose solutions adapted to clients’ needs
- Attention to detail and determination to always deliver high-quality work
- Experience using Bentley Instrumentation & Wiring, AutoCAD, or any other specialized software (an asset)
- ASP Construction card
