In the Project Engineering Career Path, you will build your technical knowledge through rotations over a 2-year period. You will have the opportunity to work within the following areas:
- Project Engineering: Green Aircraft & Completions
- Program Management Aircraft Completions
- Sales Engineering
- Operation Support
In your role, you will:
- Integrate cross-functional teams in the establishment of scope, schedule, and budget of projects;
- Own the development and management of the strategies, schedules and budget of your project portfolio;
- Lead and coordinate Engineering Change planning, ensuring completeness and harmonization with stakeholders;
- Work closely with technical experts, business leaders, suppliers, and customer representatives to ensure adherence of projects scope, schedule, and budget;
- Manage priorities between projects and activities and complete strategic schedule analysis;
- Identify and report on risks and lead risk mitigation planning and execution;
- Present project schedules, business cases and updates at regular reviews with senior management;
- Establish and track metrics to monitor performance and progress, prepare status reports and modify schedules and plans as required;
- Simplify technical concepts and prepare analyses to make effective sales arguments;
- Introduce Bombardier business jets to prospects through impactful, concise, and dynamic presentations;
- Gather competitive intelligence and monitor business aircraft market trends;
- Challenge and develop innovative ways to reinvent the Sales Engineering tools and deliverables to improve productivity and quality.
Qualifications
As our ideal candidate,
- You have less than 2 years of post-graduation work experience
- You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, or other related field)—completed in 2021 or will be completed by May 2022
- You have a passion and unrelenting desire to learn about aviation
- You have an innovative mindset and are eager to take on new challenges
- You are a collaborative team player who strives for success
- You are motivated and able to adapt in fast-paced environments
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French
- You have knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Suite, MS Project is an asset
- You are eligible to work in Canada
- You have knowledge of programming languages: Python, C/C++ or MATLAB is an asset
- You have a previous internship in the aviation industry is an asset
