Job title: Engineering Office Administrator
Job description: General Description:
The purpose of this role is to coordinate clerical and administrative aspects of ISO 9001 standards and engineering projects, to ensure efficient execution.
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate company processes, policies, and procedures with regards to ISO 9001 standards – communicate and meet with external consultants as required
- Record meeting minutes
- Create presentations (monthly management meetings)
- Create and enter internal jobs/projects through company ERP system
- Release Spare Parts orders
- Maintain records and other information systems and databases
- Assist Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Managers with engineering plans and schedules
- Assist Project Management in preparing/updating project schedules and timelines
- Keep project timelines updated, organized, and published weekly
- Work with the Engineering team to document, track and file Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SRED) reports – communicate and meet with external consultants as required
- Other related duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- College Diploma (Office Administration, Business Administration, Engineering Technology, or a related field)
- Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- ISO 9001 Quality System knowledge/experience
- Must be able to work in fast-paced environment
- Must have good communication and organizational skills (collaboration and team working)
