L’École Vision St-Augustin est une école préscolaire et primaire trilingue (français, anglais et espagnol). Elle est située aux limites de la ville de St-Augustin et de Cap-Rouge, sur un site enchanteur bordé d’une forêt. L’activité physique et la robotique sont au coeur de nos approches. On y retrouve des terrains de soccer, de baseball, de basketball et une patinoire. Les élèves de la 2e à la 6e année travaillent avec un Ipad personnel. L’école est équipée d’un laboratoire créatif. L’école offre un enseignement et des infrastructures modernes qui répondent aux intérêts et aux besoins des jeunes d’aujourd’hui, afin de les former pour le monde de demain.

Job description :

• Physical Education Teacher in an English immersion environment.
• Teaching must be done in English or Spanish.
• Teach different grade levels (kinder 4 to grade 6).
• Coach extra-curricular activities.
• Promote a healthy lifestyle.
• Plan school-wide activities.
• Full time.

Work conditions :

• Salary: according to the salary scale.

• 18 to 26 students per class.
• Personalised assistance, coaching and professional training are provided to to the candidates

Requirements :

• Excellent knowledge of the English language (written and spoken). No knowledge of French is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education Program or equivalent or about to be completed.

Proficiency :

• You are dynamic, resourceful, devoted and diligent.
• You can adjust quickly and you are ready to learn and adopt modern teaching approaches such as workshop approach, effectiveness and positive feedback when you evaluate and personalized teaching.
• You are ready and willing to plan activities to promote a healthy lifestyle.
• You are willing to coach extra-curricular sports outside of the regular school hours.
• You have an ability and/or interest to apply and integrate new technology into your teaching.
• You enjoy teamwork, co-teaching and sharing professionally with your colleagues.
• You are able to communicate with ease with the parents.
• You have strong organizational skills.
• You are inspired to get involved in your school.
