Job title: Finance Administrator

Job description: We are seeking a Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our Finance team in our Waterloo, ON for a short-term contract.

Responsibilities include:

  • Processing of employee expense reimbursement in a web-based environment
  • Preparation of accounts payable vouchers for data entry
  • WSIB Administration
  • Communicate with Finance Shared Service and in-house staff to resolve A/P issues
  • Run, analyze and file miscellaneous and cheque run reports
  • Assist with other Payables duties as necessary
  • Understanding and application of chart of accounts and its importance

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

  • Diploma in Business Administration or Accounting preferred, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 1 year experience in Accounts Payable
  • Experience working with multi-currencies preferred
  • Knowledge of Canadian Sales Taxes
  • Knowledge of Concur is an asset
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Positive, motivational attitude and strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
