Job description: In need of an Finance Manager to join a forward-looking company, Robert Half is searching for an individual that is eager, ambitious, and experienced. In this position, you will be responsible for leading daily operations, including maintaining the general ledger system, preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties. An integral part of this position is establishing and scaling company accounting and finance operations. How you will make an impact
– Contribute to the preparation of GAAP financial statements, which includes document preparation, data analysis, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes
– Possess a thorough knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
– Regularly review and inspect balance sheets and income statement accounts owned by the Accounting team
– Prepare a variety of technical accounting analyses, policies, and procedures
– Lead and supervise the accounting team performance during the closing process to ensure close deadlines are met
– Work closely with FP& A and accounting management to create relevant and timely reports on financial data analytics like the monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook
Requirements
– Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is valuable
– Customer service oriented communication skills that allow for pleasant and beneficial interactions with all customers
– Solid understanding of Project Cost
– Financial reporting experience preferred
– Strong familiarity with forecasting
– Foundational knowledge in Internal Control
– Reliable technology and analytical abilities
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience
– Creative problem solver who anticipates risks and opportunities and maintains a vision for continuous improvement
– 3+ years of recent relevant financial experience
– CPA or MBA preferred
