We currently have an opportunity for a Finance Manager who will oversee all aspects of day-to-day financial strategy and operations of our eCommerce/online marketplace division.

In this role your key responsibilities will be:

• Perform month-end close including account reconciliations and variance analysis
• Oversee the budgeting / forecasting process for the business operations
• Manage cash flow, including reporting and forecasting and working capital management
• Provide reports and analysis on operations and sales as needed to help in monitoring company performance on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. Develop reports or dashboards as requested
• Ensure all accounting functions are processed in an accurate and timely process. Including Payables, Receivables, Purchase Invoices, and General Ledger entries. Reconcile Freight and Shipping charges
• Implement systems and processes for financial evaluation of business performance on different parameters like operating margin, Net margin, ROI on different Dimensions of business-like Brand, Category, SKU level, Customer level etc
• Work with Technology and Product teams and provides inputs to build the accounting platform/backend for both marketplace and internal finance control systems, including the implementation of new ERP system
• Complete monthly tax returns as required, along with corporate tax filings
• Ensures the integrity of company’s finances and readiness for Audit and compliance
• Acts as financial business partner and builds strong relationships with the Sales, Operations, Product Development and other corporate teams.
• Work with the supply chain team on building a cost-effective the supply chain network

This role could be a good fit for you if you have:

• Post-secondary education in a related field; accounting designation will be considered an asset
• 5-8 years’ experience in full cycle accounting and finance, preferably in an eCommerce or retail environment
• Excellent reporting and business analytics skills
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office, with an emphasis on Excel
• An advisory skillset, with the ability to provide inputs and related domain knowledge for company decision making
