The FP&A Senior Analyst will report to the Manager, FP&A. This is a new role that will be based out of our corporate head office and will be an important contributor in support of the company’s budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, performance measurement, analysis and reporting.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Assist in the development of financial models and analysis of key performance indicators to drive business performance.
  • Support the annual budgeting cycle, reconciliation of variances to budgets, and detailed analysis of performance.
  • Preparation of investment analysis working directly with senior management.
  • Support strategic decision making and tactical execution.
  • Create and maintain cashflow forecasts.
  • Support working capital management, inventory reconciliation and expense management.
  • Produce management reporting and analysis, driving key insights, and recommendations.
  • Maintain complex datasets to ensure consistency across all analysis and reporting.
  • Prepare ad-hoc analysis tied to key business needs and executive management requests.

What we need from you:

  • Minimum 3 years of related experience in FP&A, or Management Accounting.
  • University degree with major in business, finance, mathematics, accounting, or economics.
  • CPA / CA (or working towards) is a plus.
  • Demonstrated analytical and financial modelling experience.
  • Ability to manage and analyze large data sets. Working knowledge of how to organize, summarize and report such data concisely.
  • Detail oriented and committed to a high level of accuracy.
  • Spark of curiosity! Someone who takes initiative to achieve results. A self-starter who anticipates next steps.
  • Outstanding time-management and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under short deadlines.
  • Ability to adapt and work effectively in changing situations; ability to quickly “change gears.”
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an approachable style and ability to establish rapport with key partners and stakeholders.
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel (Power Pivot, Power Query).
  • Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Google Drive.
  • Experience with SQL and Power BI a plus.
