What you will be doing: * Act on behalf of the Hotel Management for all guests, heartists and security issues and ensures that all challenges are responded to with a sense of urgency.
- Handle guest concerns and react quickly, tracking and notifying proper areas to guarantee memorable moments for our guests
- Maximize rooms revenue through participating in yield management meetings and implementing supporting agreed upon Revenue Management strategies and practices
- Promotes strong intercation and teamwork with all hotel departments
- Makes sure that all policies, procedures and standards are followed and acted upon at all times
- Ensures the highest quality of Heartists training and monitors performance on an ongoing basis
- Actively participates in recruitment, interviewing, training, development and reconition of good performance
- Takes ownership in the achievement of the employee engagement survey
- Promotes and enforces the hotel’s health & safety standards
- Performs all related duties and special projects as assigned
Your experience and skills include: * Minimum one year of previous front office leadership experience in a luxury property
- Prior experience working with Opera or a related system
- Proven ability to build and maintain good relationships with all stakeholders
- Communicate thoughts, actions and opportunities clearly with strong networking skills
- Excellenet written and spoken english and french
- Ability to lead by example, believe in a strong team culture and set the scene for high performance
- Ability to work variable shifts, including overnight
- Must be able to work well in a fast-paced environement and perform well under pressure
