Job description: Our client is a rapidly growing, global, cloud-based HR and OHS software provider. With an established customer base, the company is now looking to move to the next level of growth with a new solution launched. As part of this new division, there is the backing and support of a major organization, yet this role offers all the benefits, agility, and excitement of working for a start up!

The Head of Sales will be responsible for building out a sales team, developing processes and best practices while ultimately acquiring new business. The goal is to build the sales team to 50+ within the next 12-18 months. This business is easily able to scale at pace with the right management team.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Directly building and leading a team of Account Executives and Business Development Representatives and Team Leads
  • Oversee and execute on the revenue strategy
  • Work alongside the VP of Sales to improve on our systems, processes, and playbooks to optimize sales performance
  • Establish objectives and forecasting plans to drive revenue and sales targets
  • Set daily, weekly, and monthly targets to ensure KPIs are achieved
  • Identify and develop new market opportunities for the company’s product portfolio
  • Work closely with Marketing to maximize the number of qualified leads

About you:

  • You have led and developed top-performing sales teams
  • Experience selling a SaaS solution
  • You have exceeded targets as a leader and individual hunter
  • Target driven and passionate about sales and target achievements
  • A self-starter, with a high degree of motivation to work in a fast pace environment with the ability to thrive under minimal guidance
  • Strong commercial acumen
