Job title: High Pressure Driver

Job description: Position DescriptionAs a High Pressure Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of high pressure water equipment for various industrial customers. Areas of cleaning include pits, tanks, trucks, and designated areas within industrial settings. Key Accountabilities Drive to customer sites on a daily basis requiring a G Class or DZ license Perform the set-up and tear down of equipment required for the job; position hoses, snake lines, and operate the trigger high pressure spray gun Work alongside 1-2 labourers Responsible for obtaining and completing customer safe work permits and any additional required documents for high pressure water tasks Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of your vehicle on a daily basis Diagnose and report any vehicle mechanical issues to your Supervisor, Manager and/or the Mechanic Provide input and make recommendations to management to improve processes and procedures Perform general housekeeping tasks on a daily basis Perform other job duties and tasks as assigned from your Supervisor or Manager Experience, Qualifications & Education G license is required. DZ license is an asset Proof of a clean drivers abstract is required 1-3 years of work experience in a related field is required Previous knowledge of high pressure water equipment and tools is an asset Experience with the function, repair and maintenance of pumps and industrial equipment is an asset Ability to follow road regulations and the established rules and procedures at customer sites Proven track record of working safely Good customer service skills with an ability to speak and write in English Must be able to troubleshoot and problem solve as issues arise Basic mechanical knowledge Working Conditions Majority of the work is local. Some work is performed in an outside environment This is a safety sensitive position. Offers of employment are conditional upon the successful completion of a drug and alcohol test.
