Job title: Hotel Office Manager
Job description: Our hospitality client, a hotel located in Niagara Falls, is currently seeking a Hotel Office Manager.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Hotel Office Manager oversees many aspects of hotel operations including managing all Front Desk operations, Group Sales, brand standards, and maintaining the hotel inventory ordering system.
Start: Aug 2021
Position Type: Fill-Time, Permanent
Compensation: Commensurate with experience
Responsibilities:
- Managing and facilitating brand standards and expectations including brand reports, training, quality assurance, loyalty programs, guest concerns, etc.
- Group sales including written and oral quotes, bookings, confirmations, deposits, function sheets and trade show attendance
- Overseeing front desk operations including training of staff, handling guest complaints and concerns, promoting hotel standards and offerings, etc.
- Assisting in recruitment and selection of hotel staff
- Managing all office related functions including hotel ordering, office supplies and other miscellaneous items; verifying daily payroll; maintaining a proper filing system for all departments; liaison between Accounting and Payroll department; and managing social media interactions
Qualifications:
- 5 years of Office Administration experience
- University Degree or College Diploma
- Able to work independently with strong communication, problem solving, organizational and analytical skills
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work under pressure with tight deadlines
- Must possess strong attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
