Hotel Porter Wage: $15.00/hour

Shifts: 4:45am-2pm, 2pm-12:15am or 4pm-12:15am (may vary during Covid-19 restrictions)
Irregular hours – evenings, days, weekends, weekdays & holidays

Summary of Position
As Hotel Porter you are responsible for the general cleaning, maintenance and security of the Hotel including the grounds, building, equipment, and vehicles.
Porters transport our guests to and from the airport using our hotel shuttle.
Porters are also responsible for the room set ups (table and chair layouts) and tear downs for all meeting and banquet facilities.

Requirements:
High School Diploma
9+ years holding a valid Canadian drivers license
Clean Drivers Abstract
Knowledge of general maintenance duties
Ability to lift heavy loads, including up and down stairs
Ability to work and multi-task in a fast paced environment
Capable of working on own with minimal supervision
Have a pleasant and outgoing attitude and enjoy working with the public
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
Can follow oral and written instructions applying to policies and procedures
Own reliable transportation to & from work.
