Job title: Hotel Sales Manager – Calgary

Job description: This limited service hotel property requires an aggressive sales person to attract corporate clientele to the property.

  • 1 to 2 years of hotel sales

Some of your duties would include;

  • Build and maintain solid relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Earn new accounts for the hotels through strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and implement a sales plan
  • Conduct sales calls including “Introductory calls” to build product awareness.
  • Constantly create and source new business opportunities.
  • Prepare bi-weekly Sales reports.
  • Participate in networking opportunities with appropriate associations.
  • Arrange & conduct regular showings of products and services.
  • Respond to guest requests and follows up to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain a professional image at all times.

The successful candidate must have;

  • Minimum of 1-year experience in Hotel room sales
  • Strong computer skills and superior account management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of the Alberta and calgary market.
  • Internet Marketing and excellent Social Media skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiating skills.
  • Must have own vehicle and willingness to travel as needed
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends when needed
  • Leadership skills with a winning positive attitude.
  • Be knowledgeable about the hotel’s products.
  • Be available to clients when on site.

Expected salary: $60000 – 70000 per year
