Job title: Hotel Sales Manager – Calgary
Job description: This limited service hotel property requires an aggressive sales person to attract corporate clientele to the property.

Some of your duties would include;
- Build and maintain solid relationships with new and existing clients.
- Earn new accounts for the hotels through strategic initiatives.
- Develop and implement a sales plan
- Conduct sales calls including “Introductory calls” to build product awareness.
- Constantly create and source new business opportunities.
- Prepare bi-weekly Sales reports.
- Participate in networking opportunities with appropriate associations.
- Arrange & conduct regular showings of products and services.
- Respond to guest requests and follows up to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Maintain a professional image at all times.
The successful candidate must have;
- Minimum of 1-year experience in Hotel room sales
- Strong computer skills and superior account management skills.
- Strong knowledge of the Alberta and calgary market.
- Internet Marketing and excellent Social Media skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiating skills.
- Must have own vehicle and willingness to travel as needed
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends when needed
- Leadership skills with a winning positive attitude.
- Be knowledgeable about the hotel’s products.
- Be available to clients when on site.
