Nike’s North America Geography (NA Geo) covers the US and Canada and is the largest revenue generating geography for Nike. The NA Geo is enabled by a rapidly growing NA Technology (NA Tech) organization. One of NA Tech’s teams is Specialty Commerce, focused on order capture and inventory management needs important and unique to the NA Geo. This team uses Magento (aka Adobe Commerce Pro) for order capture and SkuNexus for order and warehouse management to enable specialty wholesale and employee-focused commerce needs.Who we are looking for NA Tech is seeking a Sr. Engineer – Magento (developer) for the Specialty Commerce team to buildout vital custom order capture / inventory management solutions for the NA Geo. They will be a servant leader and a great teammate that thrives in a collaborative agile environment. They will have a proven knowledge of software engineering fundamentals and standard methodologies, with an appetite for continuous learning and a passion for meeting business needs with technology.What you will work on If chosen, you’ll exercise your full stack Magento/Adobe Commerce engineering expertise to bring to life and enable the product management visions for the team’s custom order capture / inventory management solutions. These solutions are used for B2B and B2C commerce, order capture and inventory management needs for specialized business models not enabled by the main NIKE solutions. These solutions span from an employee-focused internal discount product purchasing site to enabling schools to order apparel for their summer camps.Who you will work with The candidate will join the NA Tech organization in the Applications & Planning department and works under the Manager of Specialty Commerce Apps. You and your agile squad will autonomously work with product owners and collaborators within the NA Geo on e-commerce and inventory management projects. You will partner with the larger Global Technology division by understanding and applying the Nike Matrix. Required: • Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or other relevant subject area, or equivalent experience. • 7+ years in information technology engineering roles • 5+ years building Magento/Adobe Commerce solutions • 5+ years demonstrated ability developing solutions using PHP • 5+ years demonstrated ability databases (MySQL, DynamoDB/Aurora, Snowflake) • 5+ years JavaScript (React/Node/Typescript) • 2+ years experience using AWS services(lambda, SQS, SNS, S3, EC2) • 2+years developing adaptable e/mobile solutions • Strong understanding of Agile Software Development Lifecycle and processes • Good communication skills and strong tolerance for ambiguity • Self-motivated, strong teammate with a positive demeanor and passion for the brandPreferred: • Experience with SkuNexus warehouse management • Experience with Docker • Experience with Cloud Formation or Terraforms • Experience with Continuous Integration and Deployment (Azure DevOps) • Experience with Observability tools (Splunk, New Relic, SignalFX) • Familiarity with agile tools (prefer Scrum, Jira & Confluence) Nike requires all applicants for this position to be vaccinated for COVID-19 as a condition of hire.
