Wage & Benefit:
– 14.00/hr-$15.00/hr (depending on experience), based on 30-40 hrs/week
– 15 days of paid vacation and overtime rates provided after 8 hrs/day or 40 hrs/week

Work Setting: Bar, Restaurant, Motel, Hospitality
Language: English
Education: Completion of Secondary School
Experience: At least 1-2 years related working experience or completion of culinary program

Job Duties:
– Prepare and cook sushi, sashimi and all kind of rolls and side dishes in our menus
– Prepare and make all the sauces being used for Japanese cooking
– Ensure food safety and quality meet standard
– Arrange and garnish of special orders of dishes
– Check quality of ingredients, monitor stock, and report when there are shortages
– Keep a sanitized and clean kitchen and work area
– Determine size of food portions
– May help with other departments of the prepping or side dishes if necessary.
– May assist in developing seasonal/signature menu
