Are you a problem solver?
Are you passionate about identifying and addressing non-value-added tasks/activities in a process, using Lean concepts and other improvement methodologies?
Have you partaken in any Continuous Improvement projects whether as a facilitator, lead or as a member?
Do you have experience in any of the following: DMAIC, SIPOC, VSM, Process Mapping, C&E Matrix, Fishbone diagram, FMEA, MSA, Data Collection and Analysis, 5S and 5Ys?

As a Lean Process Specialist, you will…
- Report directly to the LEAN team manager.
- Work with a range of stakeholders throughout Best Buy to understand and model business processes.
- Utilize Lean Six Sigma principles to find optimization opportunities in existing business processes.
- Partake in Six Sigma Yellow Belt and Green Belt training.
- Gather project requirements by working with other members of the Lean team and other stakeholders.
- Document and visually depict process flows and project requirements.
- Engage with Process Automation Specialists to facilitate the Agile development of process automation tools.
- Perform detailed root cause and data analysis on performance metrics across service
Here’s what we need…
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Operations Management, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
- 1-2 Years prior process improvement (Lean Six Sigma) is a requirement
- Ability to think critically and deliver results in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Problem Solver
- Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or similar is an advantage
- Project Management experience is an asset
- Ability to communicate with front line staff and senior leadership in an effective manner.
