Monday to Friday 9am – 5.30pm

Our Global client continues to go from strength to strength and are recruiting for an experienced Logistics Co-ordinator to join the team in Southampton. Ensuring that all operational targets in relation to service, quality and productivity are met at all times, this role is critical in delivering to freight customers.

Key responsibilities include:

• Accurate data entry

• Raising customer orders on the system

• Efficient use of available communication tools to confirm all arrangements specific to the transport process and miscellaneous/ancillary transactions

• Selecting from approved suppliers whilst considering cost and commercial viability

• Assist in the processing of both sales and purchase invoices

• Maintain excellent lines of communication with both customers and suppliers

Candidates must have:

• Ocean/Freight Forwarding Experience

• UK Imports & Exports – knowledge of the process and administration required

• Hazardous Goods Awareness

• Excellent planning and organisational skills

• Excellent communication skills

• Experience working under time pressure

• An enthusiastic attitude and be driven to achieve targets and objectives

• Excellent customer service skills
