Under the direction of the Restaurant director, the Maître d’hôtel will have the following main missions:

• Greeting customers on arrival
• Ensures the smooth running of the service, supervises the chefs de rang and clerks
• Be able to advise customers on both the menu and the wine list
• Offering exceptional customer service
• Participate in the management, training and professional development of the restaurant team
• Adhere to the department’s objectives, work schedules, budgets, policies and procedures

• Team spirit, dynamism, sense of organization, initiative, etc.
• Excellent culinary and oenological knowledge
• Excellent presentation and communication
• Bilingual
• Knowledge of Maitre D software is an asset.
• 3 to 5 years experience in gourmet restaurants (Relais & Châteaux, Michelin, 4 or 5 Diamond CAA/AAA or equivalent…)
