The Manager of Campaigns will lead a team of Campaign Managers whose primary objective is to work closely with Marketing and Recruitment Teams to develop comprehensive term based campaigns focused on our critical KPI’s of new student starts and cost per start. The campaigns will serve as a key intersection/point of synthesis between Marketing and Recruitment and as such the Manager of Campaigns will work closely with various leaders of Marketing and Recruitment. The Manager will work with their team to ensure we are focused/executing against the appropriate initiatives to exceed our goals, facilitate the removal of roadblocks, development of budgets/forecasts and assist with the development of one-off specialty campaigns.

General Responsibilities

Work with and oversee a team of Campaign Managers to optimize/manage campaigns by segment, term, channel, program BU, and vertical to ensure we are exceeding our ROA

Provide oversight to the Campaign Managers who will work with marketing & recruitment teams to make adjustments based on the business unit needs to attain lead, spend, CPL, CPQL, Cost per Application, Cost per Start and ultimately starts.

Follows strategic oversight of Manager of Marketing and Marketing leaders

Co-ownership of budgets associated with each location, BU, program and channel

Co-ownership of forecasting with channel owners.

Co-ownership of budget investment levels and allocation for ‘other channels’ as it relates to student start

General Qualifications

4-year degree from an accredited institution in Marketing or equivalent discipline OR appropriate combination of experience and education

Minimum of 7 years’ experience in marketing, finance, media planning, and/or project management

Experience in the management and development of budgets and media campaigns is strongly preferred

Understanding and working knowledge of full funnel performance-based marketing campaigns and corresponding KPI’s is required

Knowledge of sales funnels and their connection/interaction points with marketing along with critical KPI’s.

Understanding of marketing attribution models and their corresponding impact to down funnel KPI’s

Strong knowledge of project management best practices

Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.

Experience in higher education, and working in a cross-functional environment is preferred

Demonstrates very strong problem-solving skills, including troubleshooting, analysis, and reverse engineering

Is a self-motivated, proactive, and resourceful manager who is willing to go above and beyond to help others; recognizes team contributions and achievements

Has a positive, professional attitude and maintains effective working relationships interdepartmentally and with stakeholders

As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Pearson provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only , the range of starting pay for this role is $100,000 – $120,000.
