Reporting to the AVP, Replenishment , the Manager, Supply Chain Education will be accountable for the management of the design and delivery of operational training programs in support of the Replenishment Team and CTR’s Suppliers.

The primary focus is to develop and deliver an Essential Skills Program to new Replenishment Analysts (RAs) which introduces the systems and processes needed to execute, complete their daily duties and drive business results. This involves providing new RAs with the theoretical, analytical, practical, and functional knowledge they need to be successful. To achieve these goals, the training team develops and maintains their programs on a regular basis to be reflective of the current business practices, processes, and objectives.

In addition to the Essential Skills Program, the training team provides ongoing support to existing RAs. This includes the Core Plus Program which focusses on the specific training needs of certain lines (e.g. EAP, DS, Order Opt), Best Practice Sessions, and the coaching of RAs who have recently completed the Training Program. Support is also offered to all RAs by addressing process and system related questions raised to the training team via either phone or email. Regular updates, refreshers or reminders are also delivered to RAs through a number of different vehicles.

The secondary focus area is on Supplier Education, Supplier Onboarding and supporting supplier inquiries with regards to supply chain related inquiries including how to effectively utilize CTR’s planned orders, RPA and ASN.

The ideal successful candidate must be knowledgeable in Replenishment and have some knowledge/interest and/or experience in Adult Education. At least 5 years of work experience is required, preferably at CTR.

What you’ll do

  • Develop a skilled, motivated, self-driven and innovative Training Team in a “primarily work from home environment”
  • Foster an environment where learning never ends and RAs are being engaged regularly in new and creative ways
  • Develop the Replenishment related training requirements of the CTR Forecasting, Allocation and Replenishment program (FAR) and transition from JDA Fulfillment to o9
  • Continue to drive the vision, design, build and implementation of an interactive, engaging, “primarily work from home” online training program where key learning objectives are both established and met
  • Create processes to ensure new hires receive the appropriate amount of follow-up coaching and support once transitioned into their businesses to ensure success
  • Monitor overall Replenishment Team performance vs. objectives and/or current pain points and deliver timely refresher training, best practice sessions, “tips and tricks” etc. to drive the desired business outcomes or address current challenges
  • Interact with Managers and HR to forecast the number of new hires, drive the recruiting process (internal, external, campus), interviewing, onboarding process, and deliver training needs accordingly
  • Coordinate and help facilitate non-role specific sessions to further develop the Team including, but not limited to Growing Your Career, Speed Mentoring sessions, recommending TLA sessions etc.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on all processes and rules related to Replenishment

What you bring

  • University degree or equivalent in Logistics, Business, Adult Education, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years work experience in related field
  • Self-motivated, results driven with demonstrated ability to identify business requirements or short comings and translate into a training plan with clear objectives and outcomes
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Demonstrated leadership and proven ability to motivate and develop a non-operational team in a primarily online workplace
  • Able to analyze information and make recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with client groups, and gain their trust and respect
