The Marketing Analyst will be reporting directly to the Director of Marketing Planning. This role is responsible for leading the marketing measurement functions. The Marketing Analyst is responsible for the end-to-end assessments and recommendations, informing market strategy, investment and plans (i.e. campaigns). The Analyst will work with stakeholders to optimize marketing investments across channels as well as customer acquisition, growth and retention.

Marketing Analyst, Job Responsibilities:

Champion the Marketing Analytics function

Analyze data, test hypotheses and find root causes

Develop prototypes, forecast performance, create reports, conduct A/B and multivariate test

Generate insights, present findings, make specific and actionable recommendations

Lead review and analyses of marketing

Support development of strategy for customer acquisition, growth and retention

Lead development and execution of the marketing analytics solutions roadmap

Design, development, and implementation of A/B and multi-variate testing (Test and Learn)

Explore diverse data sets from a variety of different sources

Use advanced statistical techniques on large data sets

Analyze and report on quantitative and qualitative data

Lead the development of KPI and ROI Frameworks/scorecards

Interpret analytical findings and visualize recommended approach and solution(s)

Work collaboratively on cross-functional projects and programs

Marketing Analyst, Key Qualifications:

Post-secondary education in a relevant field including Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Marketing or equivalent experience preferred

Experience within database/digital marketing, CRM and analytics, ideally in the retail marketing field and franchise environment

Experience working with Marketing technology (CRMs, Campaign management, email marketing platforms etc.) and loyalty programs

Experience with real-time interaction management, customer experience systems, data platforms, automated marketing technologies

Experience with A/B & multi-variate testing & data analysis

Experience in marketing forecasting, and creating a link between marketing performance and primary KPI

Experience in customer campaign analytics including campaign structure development, segment targeting, reward setting and measurement

Experience leveraging data and advanced predictive analytical techniques (data mining, advanced modeling, statistics, etc.) to support marketing efforts

Experience with key analytics and presentation tools, such as CRM’s, Google Analytics, email marketing platforms, Excel, Tableau, and BI software

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Goal-oriented with a thoughtful, strategic and analytical approach to your work

Ability to understand the significance of and opportunities associated with data and analytics

*Bilingual (ENG & FR is an asset)
