Job description: Our client, a 3D software company, is looking to hire a Marketing and Event Specialist to join their team based in Vancouver, Canada.

**This opening is a 9-month long contract position, with the opportunity for extension or conversion**

This Marketing and Event Specialist will be responsible for creating the brand marketing calendar of events for both virtual and in-person formats. The ideal person for this position will have experience working in content design and event planning and production.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the brand marketing calendar of events which includes user and executive events, participation in tradeshows and seminars, internal events, and brand support to corporate and local events – on a virtual and in-person formats
• Design the event value proposition, theme, and agenda for each event
• Document and manage the event process, plan, and calendar for all stakeholders and on internal media, and communities
• Listen, coach, train the speakers to design and adapt the content
• Design and deliver events, messages, supports if needed (written presentation, videos, keynote speaker)

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business or relevant technical field, is required
• 6+ years of experience in brand marketing with expertise in content design, event planning, and event production for virtual and in-person events
• Ability to define and manage a worldwide calendar of events based on the brand marketing plan and objectives
• Experience producing virtual events in various platforms like Webex, GoToWebinar, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, and others

The Offer

• Competitive Pay: Up to $45/hour, DOE
• Contract Duration: 9-month contract
