Job Description

Your responsibilities will be to support Bosch Rexroth’s Conveyor Technology (Pallet Conveying, Continuous Conveying, etc.) as a Technical Expert, assisting our customers in the application of our Conveyor Technology into the machines they produce. You may be required to oversee large projects, from development of the quote, order process, coordinating with suppliers (internal and external) to final instillation and sign-off.

• Primary technical product support interface (internal and external customers)
• Interpret customer specifications, make product recommendations and assist with selection of our conveyor product
• Use our MtPro software and working with our customers in the selection of a conveyor system.
• Preparation of customer BOM for quotation purposes
• Set up part numbers and BOM’s for special customer requirements within our SAP system.
• Identify spare parts for products in the field
• Support customers with preventative maintenance recommendations
• Assist with resolving quality issues (Deviations / Customer Concessions)

Qualifications

• Mechanical Engineering/Technologist or equivalent
• Ability to communicate well: verbally, written, and presenting to large groups
• 3 – 5 years of project management experience
• Travel requirement, up to 10%, more in the case of managing a conveyor project.
• Experience with the sale of engineered products and relevant support activities
• Strong knowledge of conveyor technology products and applications
• Suitable knowledge of primary served industry segments. (Assembly, Automotive, Medical, Food and Packaging).
• Computer knowledge, MS-Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), Computer Aided Design software, ERP environment, preferably SAP

Additional Qualifications (beneficial but not required)

• Experience/Knowledgeable with linear systems, electromechanical solutions and electric drives and controls.
