Job Description
Your responsibilites will be to support Bosch Rexroth’s Linear Technology (Ball Screws, Runner Blocks and Modules) as a Technical Expert, assisting our customers in the application of our Linear Technology into the machines they produce.
- Primary technical product support interface (internal and external customers)
- Interpret customer specifications, make product recommendations and assist with selection of our linear product
- Using our LMD & LinSelect software to perform sizing and selection calculations for ball screw; runner blocks and linear actuators
- Preparation of customer BOM for quotation purposes
- Identify spare parts for products in the field
- Support customers with preventative maintenance recommendations
- Assist with resolving quality issues (Deviations / Customer Concessions)
Qualifications
- Mechanical Engineering/Technologist or equivalent
- Ability to communicate well: verbally, written, and present to large groups
- Travel requirement, up to 10%
- Experience with the sales of engineered products and relevant support activities
- Strong knowledge of linear technology products and applications
- Suitable knowledge of primary served industry segments. (Assembly, Automotive, Medical, Food and Packaging).
- Computer knowledge, MS-Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), ERP environment, preferably SAP
Additional Qualifications (beneficial but not required)
- Experience/Knowledgeable with conveyor systems, electromechanical solutions and electric drives and controls.
