To complement the continual growth of Macquarie and its business strategy, we are seeking a proven sales professional to join Macquarie’s TMT division in Canada. This role will be based in Ontario, Alberta or British Columbia and can be in office, remote or hybrid.

In this role, you will originate financing opportunities with Canada’s largest enterprises, provincial governments, public health and education systems, as well as the service providers and outsourcers who deliver into these markets. To be successful in this role, you’ll have a passion for building strong client relationships and providing exceptional sales solutions for our customers in a dynamic and fast paced environment.

Relying on your 7+ years’ experience of proven sales success in the lease / finance industry, you will be responsible for originating new business opportunities and areas of growth within a small number of existing accounts, and for managing all levels of the sales cycle, including the development and execution of a strategic account plan.

Your commitment to exceptional customer service means you manage all aspects of the client relationship to a very high standard, which will assist you in designing and creating proposals based on the needs of customers. Your motivation and professionalism will ensure that you thrive in our team-oriented environment.

You will use your strong financial sales acumen to structure lease transactions, negotiate contracts, and understand complex problems to develop effective solutions for our client for the purpose of achieving sales revenue and profit targets (with a focus on Fair Market Value lease origination).

The TMT division of Specialized and Asset Finance, with a 19 year track record in Canada, is part of the Commodities and Global Markets Group within Macquarie. We provide innovative and traditional capital, finance and related services to clients operating in selected international markets including:

  • Leasing and asset finance
  • Tailored debt and finance solutions
  • Asset remarketing, sourcing and trading
  • Device management solutions
  • Industry leading infrastructure expertise

Leveraging your relationships and previous experiences, you will be an expert at delivering results for a:

  • Technology or Leasing company; or
  • Healthcare or Technology services provider; or
  • Software or Cloud services Reseller; or
  • Telecom/ Carrier Sales organization; or
  • Experience purchasing or integrating financial services (banking or leasing) in a Government, or large enterprise environment.
