The National Manager, Medical Education (NMEM) will own the development and execution of the national strategic plan for our PAH portfolio which covers the spectrum of disease with oral and intravenous medications. The NMEM is also responsible for managing a team of Medical Education Managers and the development and execution of their Regional Plans. The NMEM will be an integral leader on brand and other medical education teams. Core Responsibilities: Lead the development of the National Medical Education Strategy, and the tactical, omnichannel and digital plans that are aligned to our business strategy Be a leader on the brand’s Business Implementation Team (BIM) and partner on developing the brand strategy, the Integrated Life Cycle Plan (ILCP), Evidence Generation (IEGP) and Dissemination (IEDP) plans Develop a comprehensive learning metrics strategy and identify relevant educational insights to shape future programs Develop and execute a comprehensive conference plan to improve strategic opportunities at International, National and Regional Conferences and share key post-conference deliverables Coordinate with Global counterparts; sharing strategy and resources Develop and lead the medical education engagement plan for KOLs, external associations and third-party organizations Conduct regular comprehensive needs assessments of the target HCP audiences to understand knowledge, attitude, and skill gaps relevant to the Therapeutic Area Responsible for National and Regional budget and for managing strategic agency relationships People Management Provide direct management of the PAH medical education team as they develop and execute their plans Provide ongoing support for team member’s career goals and personal development plans Encourage ongoing coordination with field triad teams (Sales, medical science and medical education) Attract, develop and retain an industry leading team of PAH MEMs Other Responsibilities Lead Medical Education franchise and Medical Affairs department projects Stay abreast of emerging treatments and translate the data into applicable tactics for knowledge transfer to health care professionals Coordinate and collaborate with other functions including sales, training, Marketing, Regulatory, Access, and Health Care Compliance in order to effectively execute key activities and support broader business goals Qualifications A minimum of a university degree is required preferably in Life Sciences or related Health Sciences discipline; an advanced science degree or MBA is preferred Minimum of 5 years of professional business experience is required Prior experience working with PAH, Cardiology or other respiratory products in Sales, Marketing and/or Medical Education is highly desirable Demonstrated ability to partner with Key Opinion Leaders to gain key insights and develop educational accredited and non-accredited content Previous experience in leadership roles demonstrating coaching competencies and the ability to lead teams is highly desirable – Dedication to working as a strong cross-functional partner Thorough knowledge of the IMC code, Healthcare Compliance policies and the principles of adult learning is required Results driven, innovative, assertive, strategic problem solver, strong project and account leadership skills are preferred Bilingual: French/English an asset Able to travel (domestic and international) approximately 30% of the time Diversity and inclusion are central elements of the shared culture across the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies.
