What you will be doing: * Consistently offer exceptional, friendly and engaging service
- Process all external and internal calls either by redirecting calls or assisting the caller
- Take ownership of the caller’s request
- Serve as a liaison for guests requiring information relating to all aspects of the hotel
- Maintain and make sure all guestroom phones are in order
- Take dining reservations and In-Room dining orders
- Provide information on menu and special events in a helpful way
- Organize daily amenity reports and same day amenity requets
- Create billa and post to guest accounts
- Maintain proper telephone etiquette at all times
- Follow all hotel standards,policies and procedures
- Follow all safety policies
- Assist in training new Colleagues
- Other duties as assigned
Your experience and skills include: * Fluent in both official languages
- Previous related experience
- Smart Serve Certificate
- Ability to function effectively in emergency situations
- Very positive attitude and disposition
- Outstanding guest service skills
- Highly responsible and reliable
- Phone experience
- Familairity e=with computers
- Excellent Guest communications skills
- Strong problem solving ability
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast pace environement
- Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
- Remain calm and courteous at all times
- Prior experience working with Opera or a related system
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
- Avilable to work overnight shifts
