Responsibilities and tasks :

  • Understands and explains shift-transfer information.
  • Responsible for executing cleaning activities as needed and based on set working sequences (equipment, parts, room, bulk containers).
  • Responsible for bringing all required components from the warehouse to Packaging and vice versa, using a manual or electrical pallet truck, and for bringing the components into the packaging rooms.
  • Based on operational needs, participate in verifying all required packaging components and approve their use.
  • Participates in equipment dismantling and set-up in the appropriate sequence.
  • Participates in component and bulk replenishment on the line to support proper operation of the production line.
  • Based on operational needs, execute tests during production and document the results obtained.
  • Maintains the work area clean, orderly and safe at all times.
  • Applies and respects GMPs and health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Participates in analyzing the results and suggest solutions to improve quality and productivity performance.
  • Provides feedback in a timely manner to colleagues in a spirit of continuous improvement.
  • Analyzes tasks and health and safety risks, and submit possible solutions to correct or improve the situations observed.
  • Executes any other related task.

Working conditions & Physical environment :

  • Plant environment – Small and large volume production line.
  • Must wear individual protection equipment at all times.
  • Work in a standing position.
  • Some meal and break periods may need to be shuffled around to ensure that lines are constantly working.
  • Operate a barrel-lifter to replenish the lines.
  • Operate an electric and/or manual pallet truck.
  • Handle loads up to 20 kg.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities :

  • Knowledge of regulations and good manufacturing practice in packaging.
  • Mechanical knowledge

  • Good mathematics skills
  • Good knowledge of French, spoken and written
  • Capable of working in a way to meet set standard times based on the quality standards in place
  • Must be able to participate in various analyses and suggest corrective or improvement measures
  • Must be a good communicator and be able to inform his colleagues of past activities on the line

Education : High School Diploma

Experience : 1 years: Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar position.
