Located in Barrie and reporting to the Manager of International Business Development and Projects, the incumbent develops and delivers 1 high school level course in a non-credit international program. Courses are scheduled and delivered in-person during the day. (4 – 5 hours per week from January 30, 2023 to May 26, 2023). Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

• Delivering 1 high school level course in a non-credit international program
• Developing and delivering appropriate curriculum to meet course objectives
• Incorporating a variety of facilitating / learning strategies to meet student needs
• Evaluating student progress / achievement
• Participating in program and college activities as required
• Participating in program revision and renewal activities as required
• Creating and maintaining a positive learning environment
• Participating in student events (orientation and graduation)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A Bachelor degree in Information Technology or related discipline
• Minimum of 2 years high school facilitating experience (Grade 10-12) within private and/or public sector organization
• Experience managing change and leading innovation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to life-long learning
• Computer literacy: MS Office
• Proven ability to work in a team environment and to foster the same in students
• Experience in some or all of the following is an asset: curriculum development, a variety of delivery strategies, learning methodologies, academic advising, and student success strategies
• Teaching and Training certification and / or experience in a facilitating or training capacity is an asset
