As a Pension Consultant, you are energized by understanding client needs and applying your skills and knowledge in order to solve client problems as well as grow client relationships. Being a key member of your client teams, you help to ensure delivery of high quality work that meets specific client needs. You build strong relationships with both external and internal clients, tackling new challenges everyday with the guidance and expertise of seasoned colleagues who care.
The successful candidate will:
- Provide actuarial and consulting services for clients with Defined Benefit, Defined Contribution and Target Benefit pension plans
- Build and maintain client relationships
- Work with current and prospective clients to help to grow business

- Manages and maintains client relationships
- Oversees the valuation process and effectively contributes in complex client projects
- Coaches, trains and mentors junior team members
- Gains insight and builds knowledge of our organization, its services, people and purpose in order to help our clients be successful.

- Relevant industry experience, as well as completion (or near completion) of industry specific designations
- Experience supporting or managing client relationships
- Strong ambition to pursue a career as a consultant working directly with a wide range of clients
- Understanding of actuarial principles and applicable legislation
- Post-secondary degree in actuarial science, mathematics or business
