Job description: Ascension Providence Hospital is seeking a�Board Certified/Board Eligible�Neonatologist to replace a physician who is retiring.� There are�five�neonatologists in the practice that assist in providing hospital coverage of the 6-bed SCN at Ascension Providence Hospital, Novi Campus and the 15-bed NICU at Ascension Providence Hospital, Southfield Campus.� The physicians see a daily average of eight and two inpatients between Southfield Campus and Novi Campus, respectively.� In a week, the physicians may perform one surgery; types include insertion of Umbilical Arterial Catheter/Umbilical Vein Catheter and occasionally chest tube insertions.��100% clinical – Duties include: daily rounds, attendance at deliveries and oversight of care for babies in the unit.�Billing is done by the hospital.�Employed opportunity; guaranteed salary, full benefits and incentives. Incentives are paid quarterly provided that goals are met.�It is preferred that the physician has at least 2 years experience. Qualified candidates should be graduates from an accredited Pediatric residency, fellowship trained in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine, and meet requirements to obtain a Michigan medical license.
