Position:

The primary focus of an Play Facilitator will be to teach and manage Snapology programs. The Play Facilitator will work directly with the teaching staff and the Owner/Operator to improve on the quality of education provided at Snapology. This includes ensuring that programs are delivered to students in a fun, structured and educational manner. Play Facilitator are asked to promote creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills while educating students on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Math) concepts. Programs are conducted for children ages 4-14. This role requires internal collaboration and communication with Snapology leadership as well as representing the Snapology organization to parents & children with a high degree of professionalism.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Lead groups of students through curriculum-guided activities
  • Handle inquiries from parents regarding Snapology programs
  • Encourage students & parents to enroll students in future Snapology programs
  • Maintain and improve Snapology Training & Orientation Program Policies, Procedures and Guidelines as needed
  • Ensure teachers are properly trained for each program prior to commencement of each class
  • Maintain Class Packs, Teacher Packs and other Classroom Supplies
  • Ensure teachers have proper equipment and materials for each program prior to commencement of each class
  • Teach or observe new classes and conduct mock classes to evaluate programs and gather feedback
  • Evaluate feedback from employees and provide relevant feedback to Owner/Operator
  • Seek feedback and create a positive climate for teachers to provide feedback on curriculum and classroom experiences
  • Coordinate with Management on curriculum and other relevant topics
  • Teach or observe new classes and conduct mock classes to evaluate programs and gather feedback
  • Develop and maintain the employee schedule

Qualifications:

  • Current criminal record check and vulnerable sector check
  • 2 or more years of experience working with children in a bilingual classroom or camp environment
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
  • Proven ability to report to work on a regular and punctual basis
