Job title: Product Vehicle Engineering (PVE) Lead
Job description: The Product Vehicle Engineering (PVE) Lead will be a part of FCA’s quality team at the Brampton Assembly Plant and be a skilled and solution oriented professional.
The PVE Lead will report to the Product Quality Engineering Manager and be responsible for: supervision/management of the Product Vehicle Engineers working for engineering, production and suppliers to improve and maintain quality and standardization with in the plant; continuously devising and implementing strategies for prolonged improvement of company-wide quality performance and meet the KPIs; investigating, track and resolve quality concerns in all levels of the organization; coordinating quality related activities to achieve business metrics; and analyzing quality from key internal and external quality indicators. The selected candidate will coach and mentor quality and plant personnel in advanced problem solving skills to attack vehicle quality KPIs.
The PVE Lead must be a high-energy, hand-on individual with strength of conviction; a self-confident leader who in part due to his/her personal presence, style and demeanor, effectively provide ideas, solutions and leadership to others; and a person with unquestioned integrity and can help support in creating a stronger, centralized quality organization, while working with the cross-functional team, clearing road blocks.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree of Engineering with advanced and proven analytical and problem solving skills
- At least FIVE (5) years of experience working in a unionized industrial manufacturing environment
- At least TWO (2) years of experience in a proven leadership role with positive results
- Extensive experience with implementing quality systems and standardization of work tasks
- Ability to multi-task and manage shifting priorities
- Excellent verbal communications skills with experience in presenting to the senior leadership
- Have a strong level of knowledge and understanding of the QC pillar and WCM Methodology. Demonstrated WCM implementation experience within a manufacturing environment, QC and QM project
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
- Strong analytical skills and ability/willingness to be a self-starter and a team oriented member
- Attention to detail and accuracy
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master degree in engineering
- Shainin, DFSS Black Belt or TPS100 & TPS200 certification
