We have an exciting opportunity for a Program Coordinator, Mental Health & Substance Use Services (MH&SUS) at Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre (ARHCC).

BUILD ON YOUR CAREER EXPERIENCE BY:
– Coordinating and supervising the delivery of care in the Inpatient Psychiatric Unit
– Establishing clinical priorities and adjusting work assignments
– Acting as a senior clinician in the provision of case consultation and clinical review
– Advocating for patients and their family members to access appropriate community resources
– Participating in recruitment, interviewing and selection of staff
– Providing clinical expertise, consultation, role modeling and leadership
YOUR BACKGROUND INCLUDES:
– Baccalaureate degree in Nursing from an approved School of Nursing
– Five (5) years’ recent related clinical experience including one (1) year experience in a supervisory/administrative capacity, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
– Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse and/or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
– For licensed facilities successful completion of St. John’s Ambulance Safety Orientated First Aide Certificate and current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificate (CPR) level C are required
– Valid BC driver’s license and access to personal vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage
This role is a full-time position located at Langley Memorial Hospital (LMH) in This role is a relief full-time position located at Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre (ARHCC) in Abbotsford, BC. ARHCC is a 272 bed, University of British Columbia affiliated hospital offering medical, surgical, obstetrics, inpatient pediatrics, renal, cardiology, tertiary palliative care, helipad, as well as 24/7 emergency services with 79,289 visits annually.
