Job description: TalentWorld is currently recruiting a Project Manager – Marketing & Communications for one of our clients in Toronto! The Project Manager – Marketing & Communications will provide support to the Marketing Director in the creation, organization, execution and supervision of marketing strategies and campaigns that build the brand and reputation, increase ROI, drive cost-efficiencies and achieve high standards of performance for the corporate brand. Project Manager – Marketing & Communications Responsibilities:

• In collaboration with the Director, Marketing, assist in the development of marketing and branding strategies that positively impact financial objectives (e.g. increase revenue from marketing initiatives)
• Continually monitor changes to the market using the Daily News report and other news sources to help identify opportunities for increasing brand visibility and leveraging industry trends
• Social Media: Promote the company in a compelling manner for the social channels related to the corporate website
• Perform weekly updates on the corporate marketing budget by tracking expenses and contracts
• Collaborate on national reviews and general business meetings
• Collect, analyze and prepare reports detailing analytics to support digital assets (website, social media) and propose areas for improvement
• Manage corporate website by updating content and incorporate new digital initiatives when required
• Organize company presence at conventions, trade associations, and other events where required
• Create process templates for new initiatives and provide marketing information by answering questions and requests from internal and external stakeholders
• Develop and maintain milestone reports and editorial calendars to track all initiatives
• Manage and maintain a centralized image bank including the coordination of a stock photography subscription, and management of the approval process to ensure imagery is on brand prior to its usage (based on brand style guide) and consistent across the organization
• Coordinate with outside vendors, agencies, printers, videographers and professional photographers as necessary
• Other duties as assigned

Project Manager – Marketing & Communications Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Marketing, Advertising, Business or related field required
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in marketing, event management, sponsorship or related area
• Knowledge of retail management, marketing, advertising with working knowledge of the media industry
• Outstanding project management skills and ability to multi-task
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong work ethics and ability to meet tight deadlines
• Outstanding customer service skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite and Adobe, as well as Survey Monkey

• Job Status: Fulltime, Permanent
• Salary: $70,000
• Full benefits plus pension plan
• 3 weeks’ vacation + personal days
