Job title: QA Test Engineer
Job description: Aequilibrium is searching for a QA Test Engineer to join our growing team! We are a close-knit, fast-paced group, so being a team player is crucial. If you aren’t afraid to push the envelope or get your hands dirty, keep reading!
Working in our Agile framework, you will be in charge of assessing software quality through manual testing. You have an eye for detail, are passionate about quality and have excellent collaboration and communication skills! Our QA team defines and supports user acceptance procedures, perform manual, exploratory, and regression tests, and document, track, and triage defects/bugs, all of which are nicely wrapped up in clearly written and actionable test reports and recommendations. Voilà!
Skills and Qualifications
- Manual testing experience executing test cases, including regression and smoke tests
- Experience identifying, analyzing and documenting bugs, defects, and issues, and communicating the results to the relevant stakeholders
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Experience with issue tracking tools, such as Jira
- Some experience with Java, Selenium WebDriver, Git, API-level testing, and mobile testing I wanted to keep things succinct here in the automation area
- Proficient with MacOS or other UNIX-like operating systems
Nice to Have
- Experience with continuous integration tools
- Experience with API level testing
- Experience with Agile methodology

Education
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field (or equivalent)
