As a Test Lead provide leadership and expertise to Testing Teams / QA professionals on a broad range of test services and solutions for assigned projects / programs, ensuring established standards are met and planned objectives are achieved.

About This Role
- Lead Quality Engineering activities within sprint and System integration phase – working closely with all teams to plan, execute, report and drive continuous improvement
- Implement quality engineering best practices at every opportunity and ensure accurate status tracking/ reporting to QE manager
- Drive an automation first approach contributing to analyze, develop, debug, execute and maintain complex automated test cases.
- Be responsible for all project/ release testing activities (e.g. integration, business acceptance, performance, operability etc.)
- Apply risk analysis methodologies and proactively manage and mitigate risks aligned with a project’s development approach.
- Prioritize testing tasks, ensure milestones, activities, tasks are completed as scheduled.
- Create and execute test case creation and execution to ensure team meets timelines.
- Ensure testing does not impact the production environment (e.g., file transmission scheduling), meets information security/privacy policies/guidelines.
- Follow established testing processes, in doing so, identify, assess, address, resolve and/or escalate, develop contingency plans as needed.
- Participate in audit reviews of test artifacts, ensure they meet standards and audit requirements, and are stored in the project site.
- Participate in gate reviews, testing activities and artifacts, ensure they adhere to gating criteria.
- Track team time reporting and financials
Requirements

- Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate
- 5 to 7 years of relevant experience
- Strong Test Leadership and Management Skills – Create test strategies and plans, test metrics and reporting, ability to drive sprint scope, retrospection and influence changes to align to best practices (5 years)
- Strong working knowledge of Java – Ability to write code/ functions for complex scenarios, integration points and supporting multiple technologies (legacy and digital) (5+ years)
- In sprint automation UI (JAVA selenium) and API scripting (RestAssured) (3+ years)
- Knowledge and working experience on Automation frameworks (3+ years)
- Knowledge and working experience on Mobile Automation frameworks and toolsets (2+ years)
- Working experience with Dev-ops environment (2+ years)
- Strong agile background – Sprint ceremonies, scrum methodology, planning and retrospections (3+ years)
- Automation strategy creation and planning
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Works independently with minimal supervision
- Tools – Jenkins, GIT, Selenium, Parasoft (SOATEST), Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket
- Good to have
- Previous banking experience
- Understanding of business banking servicing platforms
- Knowledge on Microsoft Azure and working with testing cloud hosted APIs & Infrastructure
- Ability to work in a behavior driven development model (BDD)
