VCA Canada Tri Lake Animal Hospital & Referral Centre is looking for a Full Time Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) to join our amazing team of professionals!
We are looking for a new team member who would enjoy a fast-paced environment and are passionate about making a REAL difference in the lives of our patients and clients. You will have the opportunity to not only work with a variety of cases but also, a variety of species. The successful candidate will be supported to grow and develop skills and knowledge through focused continuing education (CE), as well as onsite mentorship from doctors and senior technologists. New grads are always welcome!
About Us
Located in beautiful Lake Country, just a short drive from both Kelowna and Vernon, VCA Canada Tri Lake has been serving the community for over 35 years. We are a bustling hybrid small animal / exotic / referral practice with board-certified specialists and general practice veterinarians. Our hospital is equipped with 5 surgical suites, a separate dental suite, in house laboratory, ultrasound, digital radiology, endoscopy and a new 64-slice CT scanner. Our team is made up of experienced professionals, all dedicated to continuous learning and providing an excellent experience for both our clients and their pets.

- Venipuncture
- Catheter placement
- Radiology
- Anesthesia monitoring
- Physical examinations and patient assessment
- Surgical preparation and assisting
- Dentistry
- Laboratory work
- Pharmacy
- Patient recovery
- Compassionate care for our hospitalized patients
Qualifications
- Registered Veterinary Technician/Technologist RVT (or eligible to register)
- Prior experience within a RVT role considered an asset BUT new grads are also welcome!
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential
- Ability to work efficiently on your own and with a team
- Proven ability to organize, take initiative, exhibits decision making skills and exercises good judgment
