We’re looking for an energetic and dynamic Restaurant Manager with Hotel Arts Group with a passion for not only food and beverage but for service.

- Has a comprehensive knowledge of the food and beverage scene with an understanding of food preparation

- Is an ambassador and is able to deal with a demanding, articulate customer base
- Will be hands on with a “can do” attitude
- Is flexible and prepared to extend work hours dependent upon business and team needs
- Knows how to lead and monitor, train, develop and organize staff efficiently and thoughtfully
- Is able to deal with pressure well
- Is sales orientated with the savvy to bring in new customers and keep regulars coming back
- Is knowledgeable about the business from a profit & loss standpoint including food and labour cost
- Is pro-active and always looking to improve things by offering improvement ideas
- Sets and maintains high operational standards for his/herself and for his/her people
- Understands that Health & Safety is a responsibility of everyone and drives it in the restaurant
- Has strong written and spoken English skills
- Demonstrates an awareness of what is going on in the food and beverage industry in the Calgary and international market and uses this information to lead the restaurant development

Desired Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3 years experience in a management capacity in a medium/high volume operation
- Previous restaurant Management experience an asset
- Ability to analyze data to impact profit performance
