What we need

Under the supervision of the Director of Food and Beverage, the Restaurant Supervisor ensures the satisfaction of our restaurant clientele by assisting the management team in the supervision of the dining room, Panorama lounge, Mezzanine café and other food and beverage outlets; while ensuring the respect of the Nordik Spa-Nature DNA.

What you’ll do

  • Oversee the operations of the department’s various points of sale;
  • Ensure established standards and procedures are respected by team members to ensure the quality of the customer experience;
  • Provide team support on a daily basis;
  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards with respect to hygiene, sanitation, health and safety at work;
  • In collaboration with the Senior Manager:
  • Manage work schedules
  • Ensure the integration of new employees including training follow-ups;
  • Create the weekly focus for employees and ensure motivation and promotion;
  • Prepare supply orders for glasses, cutlery, etc. following inventories;
  • Update menus;
  • Ensure the management of unforeseen event or customer complaints;
  • Perform other related tasks.

Profile needed

What is the profile needed in order to be successful

  • High School Diploma;
  • Minimum two (2) years restaurant or guest services experience; including previous supervision experience;
  • Food Handling and Occupational Health and Safety certification;
  • Interest in wine, beer, drinks and gastronomy, an asset;
  • College degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management or customer service, an asset;
  • Service in Action certification, an asset ;
  • Bilinguism essential (French and English);
  • Knowledge of restaurant POS;
  • Ability to communicate clearly with customers, managers and other associates;
  • Ability to manage stress (great affluence);
  • Attention to detail; organized;
  • Team spirit, positive attitude and a sense of initiative.

When
40 hours a week, you will work on flexible schedule (days, evenings, weekends, holidays).
