The opportunity:

A new opportunity has arisen with Retail for a Sales and Distribution Consultant. This role will support the development and management of our distribution landscape as well as providing analytical support for our key brokers and business strategies across Retail.

You will execute multiple assigned projects to support strategic initiatives, operational planning, and supporting delivery of plan.

The Sales and Distribution Consultant will be required to, independently conduct analysis by collecting data and input from other parts of the business to drive the required business result.

This role is available part-time, job-share or full time. This is because we want the best people for our roles, and we recognise that sometimes those people aren’t available full-time.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist in strategy development/execution.
  • Monitor/review relative to business/operational plans.
  • Evaluate key projects/initiatives to determine if key deliverables are being met.
  • Conduct feasibility review of business and/or Center of Expertise plans and for projects/initiatives.
  • Identify possible issues/opportunities of strategy and recommend solutions.
  • Propose potential new initiatives or areas for improvement.
  • Build data models to support complex analysis.
  • Draw connections and insights across multiple projects / parts of the organization to ensure continuity of organization-wide initiatives.
  • Identifying gaps in analysis and additional analysis that should be conducted.
  • Apply industry knowledge to own work and bringing knowledge to bear with other analysts.
  • Developing written communications in Power Point that convey analysis and insights in a cohesive story, incorporating the work of analysts.
  • Defining data requirements and identifying appropriate sources.
  • Participating in training and development of new hires.

Your skills and experience:

  • Advance communication skills, strong collaborator and influencer.
  • Advance Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Model behaviours that demonstrate commitment, professionalism and positive mindset.
  • Experience in using insights and data to drive results and support delivery of plan.
  • Able to manage and meet deadlines whilst working under pressure.
