YOUR MISSION

The Clinical Counselor conducts one on one pre-operative consultations in either a virtual or in-clinic setting with prospective LASIK MD patients. The main responsibility of this position is to provide outstanding customer service along with clear and accurate information during the consultation. The Clinical Counsellor is relied upon to facilitate surgical appointment bookings while supporting patients on their journey.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Present treatment options to prospective patients.
• Provide accurate information to patients regarding surgery, pricing, and scheduling.
• Manage and address patient questions accurately, concisely and in a timely manner.
• Help meet patients’ needs by consulting, reassuring and scheduling follow-ups, across different regions, either in a virtual setting or in clinic environment.
• Accurately complete all administrative tasks associated with the position.

WHAT YOU OFFER:

• A broad background in customer service, including working with sales target or commission, in any relevant industry, such as cosmetics, retail, banking, insurance, travel sales, restaurants, etc.
• We also welcome applicants with backgrounds in Psychology, Sociology, Science, etc. Some of our most successful consultants do not have sales backgrounds, but they do have amazing people skills.
• Desire to succeed: Highly motivated, results driven and familiar with retention techniques.
• You are organized, self-disciplined, have excellent prioritization, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work within a team but have strong leadership and autonomous habits
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal (being bilingual in French and English will be a requirement for specific regions).
• You are motivated to learn new systems/technology – we work with a CRM, along with Outlook and Teams.
• Flexible to work various schedules, with some occasional evenings and weekends

POSITION DETAILS

This is a permanent, full-time position . We offer a competitive compensation, bonuses and benefits. Candidates must be willing to work 40 hours per week , on a flexible schedule (days, evenings and weekends). A full training is given to all new hires.
