Job description: The Hotel Grand Pacific is an Independant, Luxury Hotel located in Victoria’s inner harbour. As one of the largest hotels in the city we are excited about the Province re-opening and are looking to add to our Guest Services Team.

This position is responsible for operations at the Front Desk, proactively managing the check in and check out process and ensuring the needs of Guests are met.
- Maximize hotel occupancy and average daily rate
- Organize and maintain an effective front desk area
- Accurate collection and recording of information
- Accurate and efficient accounting procedures
- Protect guest privacy
- Ensure guest satisfaction and overall positive experience
- Five Star service and exceptional attention to detail
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have a professional presence as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. They must also possess 2 years recent experience in a Hotel Front Office with Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word and the ability to type 40 WPM. Knowledge of Opera PMS is also preferred. Physical requirements include standing, walking and repetitive motion. Second language is an asset.
- Salary/Wage: 18.00 to start
