Johnson & Johnson Consumer Inc. is recruiting for a Senior Financial Analyst for the Sales and Customer Finance Team, located in Markham, ON. This role will be responsible for providing the best-in-class business partnering, financial planning and analysis, management reporting, and impactful opportunity assessments to deliver joint value creation. The Senior Financial Analyst will enable profitable growth for the organization by understanding the drivers of gross to net discounts, ensuring robust and efficient processes are in place for planning, month-end close and annual update processes.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Customer Teams on trade investment and other opportunities to deliver on Customer Joint Value Creation partnership.
- Key finance business partner supporting Customer Teams, including the Sobeys, Dollarama, and New and Emerging Channel teams.
- Partner with Customer Teams, Customer Strategy, Deliver, Sales Operations, and Finance to ensure thorough financial analysis and validation of incremental funding requests, trade investment opportunities and management of risk/offsets to deliver on the latest financial plan.
- Support Finance and Sales organization to deliver on Sales and Trade Investment targets.
- Act as the single point of contact for management of period-end deliverables related to rebates, cash discounts, unsaleable allowance, sales returns, customer fines and billing adjustments.
- Partner with Marketing Finance and Sales Finance to develop robust business plan and updates including but not limited to management presentations, analytics, and reporting. This includes partnering closely with the commercial business to ensure thorough understanding and analysis of the latest thinking on market information and business outlook to provide accurate financial forecasts based on business drivers. Key areas to plan for include rebates, cash discounts, unsaleable allowance, sales returns, customer fines and billing adjustments.
- Elevate the financial acumen of the sales team by educating business partners on key financial concepts, policies and procedures. Support the consistent application of Gross to Net account classification, to drive business insights and behaviour changes.
- Provide leadership and support on key organizational projects..
- Lead annual maintenance of bankbooks to ensure visibility to trade (customer/SPG/year)
- Deliver on monthly regulatory and internal management sales reporting (PMPRB, RAMQ and other local government reporting requirements)
- Validate customer prepack pricing and off-invoice requests prior to manager approval.
- Coordinate annual validation of off-invoice allowance by account team (and as price changes occur).
- Partner with Finance team to ensure timely and compliant month-end close and reporting requirements are met and in compliance with SOX and J&J worldwide procedures requirements.
- Maintain internal control environment including Standards of Procedures and desktop procedures.
- Champion continuous process improvements including system updates and enhancements.
