The OCC (Operations Control Centre) team is responsible for end-of-day processing, producing financial reports, handling incidents, and monitoring infrastructure.

You will report to the Section Manager, Operations Control Centre, Delivery of Infrastructures and Security Assets (IT).

Your role:

  • Proactively participate in resolving incidents
  • Develop and review systems and work processes to improve them and ensure their quality
  • Protect the Bank’s interests by ensuring compliance with established policies, standards, and procedures
  • Coach your less experienced employees and represent the department or the Bank with various organizations, agencies, or stakeholders
  • Carry out complex and varied analyses, and perform different large-scale assessments in order to provide relevant information for decision-making
  • Participate in or carry out special projects that have an impact on the development of practices, policies, or products
  • Make recommendations aimed at optimizing operations efficiency and information quality
  • Monitor activities and obtain all the data necessary to exercise control over these activities and ensure they operate smoothly
  • Ensure optimal stability and availability of data and processes

Competencies required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 4 years of relevant experience OR diploma and several years of relevant experience
  • Operational support experience
  • Knowledge of SQL Developer (SQL queries)
  • Knowledge of Unix/Linux commands
  • Diligent, curious, and able to take action (operational support)
  • Able to work as part of a team and facilitate decision-making
  • Client focused and strong interpersonal skills
  • Able to adapt in situations of transformation
  • Bilingual, both spoken and written (English and French)
