Job Description:

Reporting to the Director, Digital Marketing, the Senior Manager, Digital Marketing Experience will play a key role in supporting business objectives within the Sun Life Global Investments digital space. The individual will need to be strategic with strong leadership skills. They will work closely with stakeholders across the business to deliver enhanced digital experiences that grow the Sun Life Global Investments brand and product offerings and drive engagement, while protecting Sun Life Global Investments’ reputation.

What will you do ?

Provide ideas and solutions for the evolving digital strategy, and work with partners to support the creation and development of new UX and UI strategies to enhance the online advisor and investor experience for Sun Life Global Investments

In conjunction with the Director, define and prioritize website enhancements, identify gaps and recommend platform investments that will deliver on KPIs

Own search engine optimization and UX writing strategy; perform detailed keywords research, analyze search trends and provide insights, opportunities and training for partners that will support organic growth and strategic goals.

Deliver high-level digital analytics for traffic, engagement, conversion and other KPIs and make recommendations to improve the advisor and investor experience and drive more opportunities through the sales funnel

Monitor investment industry trends and champion innovative advisor- and investor-focused strategies and tactics

Work closely with subject matter experts to ensure our digital projects comply with corporate risk policies and security guidelines.

Collaborate with cross-functional internal Sun Life teams continuously finding innovative ways for sharing ideas and strategies for digital marketing ideas and initiatives that further activate our advisor and client experience roadmap

Support other marketing team projects as required.

What do you need to succeed ?

University degree or college diploma

6 to 10 years of experience in the financial services industry, digital marketing, social media, events, public relations, sales and/or communications

Experience with UX principles to create and deliver digital experiences in various digital channels

Proficient project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple tactics

Experience working in agile teams and methodology is an asset

Experience with data and analytics with a key understanding of how to leverage these insights and apply them back to the business

Experience with analytics to turn insights into stories

Financial services product expertise, working knowledge of investment industry and understanding of financial advisor practice management concepts

Excellent interpersonal skills: must be able to influence and negotiate with people from diverse backgrounds and levels throughout the organization

Proficient project management skills.

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance. Certain sales focused roles have sales incentive plans based on individual or group sales results.
