As a Senior Manager – Quality Engineering, you will develop, grow, and evolve the Quality Engineering teams by creating and implementing policy, procedure and standards that directly impact and align with key departmental goals.
We practice a remote first working model, leveraging in person interactions at our head office, in beautiful Vancouver, BC, for strategic, collaborative and social purposes.

What you’ll do as a Senior Manager – Quality Engineering:
- Build and maintain a “best in class” testing organization from a hybrid of insourced and outsourced capabilities
- Mentor, lead, train, and coach team members of the team to grow the technical knowledge and expertise
- Oversee activities with System Testing, vendors, partners, process owners, and other IT support areas to maximize the overall effectiveness of testing
- Develop testing activities and short-term strategies and objectives; establishing accountabilities and priorities; assigning and scheduling activities and resources
- Develop System Integration, Performance, Regression & User Acceptance testing plans to facilitate the most efficient, effective, and rapid testing
- Manage the development and maintenance of User Acceptance Testing training materials and documentation
- Encourage learning and development of the QA Community to improve performance & build organizational bench strength
What we’re looking for:
- 10+ years in software development and quality Engineering
- 5+ years’ experience in leadership management directly or indirectly
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, continually changing environment • Excellent interpersonal, communication, facilitation, and project planning skills
- Ability to influence those not directly in reporting structure
- Knowledge of business workflow modeling techniques, use cases, and software development lifecycle best practices
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, and/or a related discipline
