Within TD Technology, the Business Banking Credit & Sales Technology Team owns a number of Technical Applications that cover the Sales and Credit underwriting needs of Small Business Banking and Commercial Banking. We are undertaking a huge multiyear Modernization journey and we are excited to add some new members to our amazing Team.
Job Requirements
- Deep technical and functional knowledge of an industry-leading Credit Software-as-a-Service or Commercial-Off-The-Shelf product
- Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate related to IT/Software/Management. Graduate Degree related to IT/Software/Management will be preferred.
- 10+ years relevant experience and have experience of managing end to end technology delivery of medium and large size projects and associated project challenges.
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of business and bank technology standards (e.g., infrastructure, architecture, processes, applications, platforms, services) and managing people and projects.
- Demonstrated success supporting major business needs, interacting effectively to determine requirements, define strategy and deliver solutions
- Lead and inspire a team of 20+ individuals working in the project delivery domain
- Own and maintain the TS delivery supporting business priorities and mandates
- Willingness, motivation and ability to work independently (and autonomously) in the management of projects, teams and operational discipline, and can develop strategic thinking and planning throughout work plan execution (short- to medium-term business perspective).
- Experience in Agile methodologies and related tools
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Innovation mindset with ability to continuously learn and provide industry perspectives and emerging technology trends to technology solutions and delivery

Job Description
- Lead and own Software Delivery on a cutting-edge industry leading Credit platform
- Leverage deep technology expertise and lead the team to ensure delivery of effective technology solutions aligned with Technology and Business Target End State and drive business outcomes
- Primary contact / relationship point person for Technology Delivery Portfolio, escalation point for execution and production issues
- Ensure the development of technical solutions that adhere to enterprise architecture and align with Technology Delivery Principle, Target Operating Model (TOM) and associated Roadmap
- Drive quality, consistency and reduce cost of developing and maintaining technology assets while improving overall delivery capability – drive agility into program delivery
- Partner with Platform or Journey technology owners and facilitate decisions with respect to Technology Delivery and potential options / risks which will have downstream impact on operational cost, solution resiliency and scalability, identify opportunities to minimize any negative cost impact and reduce delivery / operational costs of technology
- Participate in business planning and assist in defining technology delivery approach including cross segment / team integration and release planning
- Identify business opportunities through innovation and improve quality and predictability of Technology Delivery
- Proactively manage risk and compliance for Technology Delivery Portfolio and recommend process and product improvements
- Grow team expertise to align with business/enterprise demand and direction, identify Technology Delivery Talent to enable ongoing value delivery
